James, Agreed! In fact I am putting in some Stratacom ATM equipment today. I wanted the Ascend but was outvoted!) I never said that Cisco sucked that is a fact! But they are a little bit too cocky and I personally have never liked the way that Chambers manipulates his WAN numbers to try to show that they are ahead of Ascend. Sorry, John, it didn't happen in 1998 and its not happening in 1999. I have several friends working for Cisco and they are extremely happy and I am glad for them. I will say this much, nobody is as smooth at marketing as Cisco. Their products are pretty good but their marketing is slick. I have watched several companies with superior product functionality get their clocks cleaned because of this advantage. Cheers, Steve
