I take this press release as a VERY POSITIVE one. Lyonnaise des Eaux is a big player in an industry that will become crucial for the wealth of nations in the future. Good water is a scarce resource and will become a lot more expensive in 20 years from now. It is also positive that it just took 3 months since the press release about a collaboration with AFFX (2/10/1999). The only sad thing is that the release didn't mention Affymetrix. I will take the next chance if the price drops to 35 or below to double my holdings (which sit in my portfolio since 3/97). AFFX looks much better now than the company I knew when I first invested a substantial amount into them. They are a real technology longterm play. Ronald btw. if you are looking for another long term investment, do some DD on Microvison (MVIS)
