5/10/99 - Bank of France Not to Sell Gold <Picture> PARIS (May 10) XINHUA - France"s central bank, the Bank of France, does not plan to sell its gold as the Bank of England is doing, said the bank on Monday. The Bank of France said that its 1997 policy of not to sell gold "still remains valid."
