Betterstuff Inc. Announces New Board Appointments

SALT LAKE CITY, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Fountain Fresh International (OTC Bulletin Board: FTFR), doing business as BetterStuff Inc., announced today that on June 11, 1998, a board of directors meeting was held in Zurich, Switzerland. At the meeting, BetterStuff's new directors and corporate officers were appointed as follows: Hugues Monteil: Chairman of the Board Allen D. Hardman: President and CEO of BetterStuff Inc., Officer and Board Member Heinz Amstalden: Executive Vice President and Company Officer Marc Bruhwiler: Company Secretary and Board Member Michael Montandon: Board Member A new treasurer is yet to be appointed. Richard Maynes resigned as Chairman of the Board of BetterStuff Inc. However, he has signed an ongoing management consulting agreement, wherein his consulting services for BetterStuff Inc., will be furnished on an as-needed basis. Richard C. Vigos has also resigned as Executive Vice President of BetterStuff Inc., and will no longer be involved with the company.
At the forthcoming shareholder's meeting, there will be an election of directors, and the nominees will be those directors appointed on June 11, 1998. General updates on all aspects of the future plans for BetterStuff Inc. will also be presented at this shareholder meeting, which is scheduled for Monday, August 17, 1998, in Solana Beach, California. The exact time and location will be announced later.

Inasmuch as the company now has shareholders with significant holdings residing in Switzerland, future shareholder meetings will be held alternatively in the United States and Switzerland. This will also be beneficial to the many shareholders who are not residents of the United States.

The beverage center introduced at the 1997 annual meeting of shareholders did not meet the necessary performance and reliability criteria required to successfully distribute the company's products. Therefore, the company has engaged a European engineering company to redesign and manufacture a new beverage center, with the goal of meeting the necessary performance and reliability criteria essential for successful product distribution in the beverage marketplace.

The new company officers and directors of BetterStuff Inc. extend their sincere thanks to all of those shareholders who have supported the company over the years. Every reasonable effort will be made on their part to ensure BetterStuff Inc., becomes a profit-generating business enterprise by offering consumers desirable, cost-effective alternatives to the existing choices for carbonated soft drinks and alternative beverages, which are currently in the market place.
