I believe the discussion was about the likelihood of AOL at 40 under the current decline, not a "what if" scenario. And AOL has been beating earnings estimates, not missing them. Sure, AOL could decline severly if they missed earnings, or all their subscribers could decide to quit the service, or monkeys might fly out my butt and it would hit 40.
