Ok, I talked to a buddy who works at an RBOC about possible price breaks on sales deep into NN's fiscal quarters. He said this happens, and (according to him) pretty much every large customer takes advantage of it. The discounts are over 40% from list, and can hit 50%. They also vary by product, I didn't ask for details on specific products.

Interestingly, he said he could care less if it took an extra week for those late orders to be filled (not true for "normal" orders which have specific installation requirements) because it was the price break they wanted. Also, 40-50% off of list sounds like a lot, but it may not be that bad, because his company always gets a break from list no matter when in the quarter they buy.

it's not the affiliate program... it's the stuff i know about but you obviuosly don't.

call salamon smith barney, morgan stanely, credit suisse first boston, mongomery, et al, they will also tell you they don't trust anything about anything Terry Matthews touches except his creative accounting.
