**OT Power Line Info-- Put me in the camp that says you can't do communications grade work on thick, unshielded, branches and branches of unimpedance matched nodes High Voltage wire, with god knows what garbage running on it. However, there are two interesting strategies- 1) there are other wires running up there, that the power station uses for communications and maintainence... 2) once you have the right-of-way secured, stringing fiber optics overhead is cheaper than underground. Cable ties and graduate students. I've actually done it, but not with permission. WebDrone
