Thank you, NW!

This is really, really new. I looked around a bit and the Armada 1500 and 1700 notebooks they are offering a special education models offer improved warranties. Checking the entire price list of notebooks being made available, the discounts being offered on the Armada 7400 and 7800 series are not good (to put it mildly). As an example, the suggested street price for the 7800 II-300 Windows 95 model is $3,999. and I have seen this advertised for $3,579. The price for students, faculty, and staff is $3,926.

Hey! At least its a start--and the 'value line' Armadas being offered do give educational buyers 3 year warranties instead of the regular 1.
