The non-U.S. contingent of NATO has an equal military budget of the entire U.S.. Therefore, if this truly was a European-NATO lead event sortie and military equipment participation would be much higher than the current 20%. NATO nations fall in line with the U.S. position on the issue. Ultimately the decision to stop this war will be made by an American, Clinton. Germany, France, Italy, Greece are having increased public pressure against this war and mass protests. The politicians of those nations want this to end now. The U.S. and Britain (farthest from the scene of the crime) are the ones driving this; Britian taking cues from the U.S.
