Can the Form 144s manage AAPL's share price ? Gates unloading

No head fake here with 10 mln MSFT shares sold . Gates also has two "foundations" holding MSFT stock:

dailynews.yahoo.com

Are AAPL "insider" registrations coincidental with events ? For example Mr Mandich registers during sales slow-down rumors or Mr Cook registers during channel stuffing rumors . Coincidence I presume .

Then there's the 1.5 mln shares "disposed of" by Mr Jobs in mid '96 . That news lowered AAPL's share price and gained us Amelio's departure . Not that it matters but wonder if a foundation received those shares .

Mr Markkula is active in the Silicon Valley "investment community" and brought Echelon public 6/98:

sec.gov

Has a bio on Markkula highlighting his AAPL tenure . Echelon has a critical "chip" supply contract with Motorola . Arthur Rock is a legendary "high tech investor" .

FWIW,
Jim K.
