I received a response this morning in regards to the Medinah short postion issue. Although I'm unable to reveal my source at this time, I believe this information to be credible. You may opt to take it or leave it.... The response is as follows:

> "The info reference to the short position comes from a source close to the company and claims it was his plan for the restructure of MDIN and the 'SHORT TRAP'. This particular individual was a broker for almost 20 years and knows the MM's work behind the scenes. So MDIN is convinced an illegal short position is there. This means there will not be enough dividends to go around. Many shareholders will complain to the SEC as a first round of action. This could trigger a short term trading halt as they investigate. He hopes not more than a day, once they see MDIN has done nothing wrong. They did not cover nor were they expected to. They can still short Medinah MIning waiting it out for as long as possible."

> "Their problem is with Medinah Gold, they cannot purchase these shares. MDIN expects now they will have to come crawling on their belly's with the financial statements in hand to plead with the company to issue more shares. At this point MDIN can name their price."

> "MDIN does not want litigation nor do they expect it. However, it is at this point where if they don't pay off then that will trigger a class action law suit against the shorts. This would be by the shareholders and all will be asked to join in. It isn't clear if MDIN would join the suit or even lead it. A class action could maximize shareholder value and clout. No sense everyone hiring a bunch of attorneys. 'AND YES WE WILL ADD THE BASHERS TO THE DEFENDANTS WHETHER ARE INVOLVED OR NOT, THEY WILL HAVE TO TESTIFY'..."

> "BTW, look for major news by midweek, we are close to a deal with one of the biggest majors on the planet!! Best of luck to all of us MDIN/NPEC junkies!!"
