RENasdaq-Branch managers-Totally disagree-I was a vp of investments-Bache,"Pain"Webber and Merrill-Managers are generally brokers who would rather leech of of others efforts within an office-brokers work hard "dialing for dollars for decades-building their own books/businesses-itis grueling work -lots of rejection and putting up with a-- h--- -I had 14 managers in 30 years with those big wire-houses.None were worthy of my respect IMHO.Even worse are the managements of the large firms,I went on many trips with the top guys-I was one of the top 25 brokers in PW for five straight years --generally low class-all the claas guys left in 1966 and afterwards with the partnerships going public.wbm
