what does him having ownership have to do with being a great board member ? i do not see the correlation. he probably has ownership in this stock because it is probably how he is paid to write the columns in stocksite every day.

i hope that paul allen brings the majority of the board to the table. they will all get my vote. he has proven to be succesful.

Michelle, Bill would make a fine member of the board as what better vote for GNET than to have a well known bear behind it? A person of caution is good balance on any board.
To me it doesn't matter how Bill was paid for what he writes. If he got paid in GNET stock when GNET was a baby then you can call Bill anything you like, smart would be a good word. Having a smart, cautious person on the GNET board is not a bad thing.
