well, in the history of tortured messages, maybe its not the worst ... but why would a customer who is going to plunk down $2 million for a SAP license, a million for Oracle and about $5 million for consulting, and sys admin training be overjoyed that in a year or so they will be able to move to a much worse performing architecture than PA-RISC and then retrain their staff and port all their applications to Merced/McKinley including paying fees for new versions of software?

woo woo...what a deal...my point is that its hard enough to get one architecture to work - is HP doubling their staff to convince customers that their committed to both architectures?
