do you really think that a PE of 30 is justified for the WHOLE MARKET when it has a 5 year growth rate estimate of 7%

This is the "eternal argument", JRH. The other point of view, of course, is that supply and demand has set a new "paridigm" (don't you just love that word?), and that these are going to be the PE's from now on.

All we can do is watch interest rates, inflation, unemployment, and our masters in Washington, for change, and "Ride the Tiger", in the meantime.
