I first learned about gle from the Chief's thread - #Subject-23802 ... which btw has some excellent rules to it, not that many follow them, but you quickly learn who does and who doesn't, and whose posts have value and whose don't ..... after the first run to 6.00 I waited until it settled down some and then picked up shares at ~3.90 acb average ... not sorry either, got some off at 14.10 in the run that Friday ... those guys provide liquidity and several of them provide intelligent comment .... many, like for instance the Chief, have long-term positions in various stocks as well .... and he posts in realtime his trades in the short term account ... I don't think your comments are entirely fair.

I have both long term and short term positions, some very long and some quite short, and a bunch of others in between. I can't see why anybody would want to stick themselves in some box named 'Pure Buy-and-Hold' or 'Pure Daytrade' .... but if they do, who am i to judge them. It's a big market, there's room for all of us.

As for Foundation - they're venture capitalists, of course they will sell some at some point. Whether or not they broke significant regs we will find out in due course, but i highly doubt that any flak they get will reflect badly on the company.

...however foundation could just as easily file the proper papers and sell those shares again. these guys cant wait to unload....doenst look good...cant be good but your a day trader your not interested in the success of the company you just show up and say its good so you can sell too....just likes lots of others on this thread talking about when it runs up they will be ready to trade etc...

Well Mike it appears youwish to continue your diatribe from the "negative perspective"...so I will consider everything you say in that perspective. Yes, Foundation would certainly want to get their original investment back +++ and would likely resell. However, assuming they are a responsible company they would likely do so in slowtime. The opportunity presented itself to dump 1.2 on the day it traded millions and went to $15.00.......now that trading is down to more logical levels, they would release these shares at a slower rate.

My interest in GLE is from a short and longterm perspective, I can seperate the two, you obviously can't. I don't fall in love with stocks anymore, I buy down my longterm acct, by playing my shortterm acct. My shortterm trading has nothing to do with my longterm outlook on this stock, period! I believe the stock has upside in the longterm and have no problem holding longterm shares.

and i dont like daytraders or daytrading i think that kind of stuff makes for idiotic moves in the market....its part of the problem not part of the solution

I personaly don't care whether you like what I do for a living or not!

in the end how many here actually believe there is a viable product and not just a nice volotile stock to trade....just like the "foundation"....its not investing its idiotic speculation....

I still believe there are many products that this SOFC is destined for...whether it is cars or not, I don't know, I think the company has a bright future. Your opinion of GLE does not change mine, and I am not trying to change yours...just appreciate that I don't share your opinion, because that is all it is....another opinion!
