Hello Reg,
That news may be the reason for the upturn in the stock price on Friday. The announcement of improved earning results along with the shares buyback was made late, in the afternoon of Friday/May 7, thus I expect some move up in price on Monday, when this good news is fully digested in the weekend. Unfortunately, this news was not covered in the Saturday issue of the Financial Post. I hope that the Globe and Mail has mentioned it in its Saturday issue. One of the question I have is whether MTS would still buy back its shares at the stated price of between $22 and $24, now that the stock price has dropped to about $17.
Happy trading
