Ah, credulity, thy name is Terrence. Even if the "slave laws" were on the books right now, whatever that means. They have been null and void and unenforceable since 1865 (13th Amendment). Without bothering to look (and I would love a citation) it seems likely to me that Reconstruction Legislatures in Mississippi would have abolished them because Mississippi's representatives were not readmitted to Congress until the State ratified the 13th and 14th Amendments and abolished slavery. But Terrence doesn't possess a shred of logic or consistency and can write an absurdity like this without seeing that it could not be. Until he writes a full explanation of how he could be so dumb, suitable to the standards of this thread, I propose we simply banish him. The intentional or negligent spreading of falsehood (except in just) has no place on this thread.
