I trade equity options, and have done quite well w/ them, but never futures. So I am familiar w/ options in general.

I'll look into it; however, I am very VERY hesitant to change my trading strategy simply based on taxes. Besides, while this strategy may be taxed less, it does not really "reduce" taxes from my primary gains from stocks as do deductions.

...And yes, I trade 80% on technicals. What other people call tea leaves, I call a written explanation of what people are likely to do again...and again...and again...
