A 30-year veteran of the movie and television business was
named Friday to lead America Online Inc.'s (AOL: news,
msgs) expansion into production of broadband content.
Robert Harris, whose previous positions include the
presidency of Universal Television, will oversee the
development and acquisition of programming. The company
expects to begin delivering content for high-speed
distribution this summer through channels including Bell
Atlantic (BEL: news, msgs), Pacific Bell and Southwestern
Bell (DSW: news, msgs). AOL President Bob Pittman
called Harris "a legend in the entertainment industry." He
helped create and produce TV shows including "Magnum,
P.I."; "Murder, She Wrote"; and "The A-Team."

Net2Phone offers free Mother's Day calls

IDT's (IDTC: news, msgs) phone-to-phone Internet
telephony service is offering free domestic telephone calls
all day Sunday. Users who register at the company's Web
site, net2phonedirect.com, will be able to make
calls by dialing a toll-free number and then be connected to
their local number. The promotion coincides with new
pricing for Net2Phone customers of 7.9 cents a minute.

I know not much perhaps but, sure seems interesting that they ran this header this way, surely there were "other" ways to do it?
