Yea - explain to me why JDE won't give us the source code for some of their programs that we paid some very high $$ for and, according to our contact, should have received? Sure - we've got the object code but you can't recompile that for the new IBM AS/400E that will now be running NT as opposed to OS/2.

Last letter I saw showed an asking price of about $3M but they'd graciously offered us a 50% discount. We even offered to fly out there, recompile the source code and leave with just the object code but they didn't seem to be receptive to that idea.

Yea - like we're really going to steal the source code, we just need to make a simple conversion of a few files in order to operate certain functions of the business.

For that kind of money I'll bet Bill himself would come down and switch us over to something different.

Help, I'm doing some research on BizWire and competitors on the services they offer. Do they just offer press releases, and for a flat fee? Are there other services and price tiers? What about competitors? The only one I can think of is PR Newswire. How do these various competitors vary in terms of reach, service, and price? Who qualifies to release PR through them? Thanks for any help!
