Brian the whole bombing campaign is a joke. Bombing an indiginous population will do nothing but anger the people you are bombing, So why bother? The Chinese embasy is just another bad thing that can happen when you bomb Serbia. The whole strategy was ill concieved. If you have a problem with the Serbians, then Ground forces should have been in the equation from the beginning. It is impossible to fight sterile wars were you bomb someone into submission it just doesnt work. What have we accomplished so far. We have hardened the Serbians will to fight. We have pissed of Russia and China. Though Russia is insignifigent, China will be the second Hegemonic power eventually. We are creating distrust and planting the seeds for another cold war. We have wasted millions of dollars in armarments. We have made life worse for those being prosecuted. The United States should offer Assylum for Kosovo Albanians and leave Milosevic to himself. Serbia is not Germany, and removing the Albanians would eliminate the problem. Do you think Milosevic will invade Hungary or Germany?It is imposible to force people who dislike each other to live together. Do you think peace keepers will change anything? The Balkans have been a hot spot of trouble for 150 years. Thats not going to change because we bomb a few bridges and weapons depots! As for bombing China's embassy that is simply incompetence. That is the one place that should have had a big red no bomb zone next to it. I dont care if Milosevic was storing Nukes next door. I am sure it didnt help here that Clinton has decimated the defense budget yet everytime he gets someones(monica) panties in a bunch he feels a need to start a war. I forgot about HOOVER, he was the biggest idiot!

if Hitler and Stalin could not subdue the Yugoslavs, then how on earth does an aerial attack?... at least the Nazis and Soviets fought on the ground like real men... stated goal of protecting refugees was pure crapp... we wanted to disable the Serb war machine, and perhaps their economy at same time agree the entire Clinton strategy is naive... also ineffective is the modern day strategy of "no deaths" in warfare... kindalike no broken hearts in love I second the vote for Carter as worst president since the Depression, which is when history began... (Whip Inflation Now) heard on Natl Public Radio that 95% of all refugees who are temporarily housed more than a few hundred miles from their former homes NEVER return...
