Oh... I forgot to mention that the Seahawks haven't signed or drafte any linebackers... because they're completely set at that position!

Holmgren went for linemen, and got another secondary guy.

Last year, opposing teams picked apart the defensive right side. On the defensive left, Sean (sp?) Springs was rarely challenged. His worst game was probably against Keyshon Johnson, and he did a decent job.

Holmgren needs to address the weakness in the defensive right side secondary. I don't think Willie Williams/Fred Thomas (#1 and #2 CBs) are going to quite cut it. Perhaps Holmgren will disguise the "weakness" in his secondary with a killer pass rush. That's why he drafted DE King. Denver was said to have a weak secondary, but their team play was stellar.

BTW, King has a 36" vertical leap and weighs 290 lbs.... very large and quick for a DL. I can't wait to see Sinclair, Adams, Kennedy, and King lining up... maybe that's why Elway retired! <g>

I hope the Seahawks keep Adams and don't trade for Gilbert Brown. I think Adams has "better wind."

FWIW

Dawkins is a very interesting pickup. With Galloway there, he won't have to be the main WR. That is good, because Dawkins has a little bit of Scottie Pippen in him. No matter how these personnel moves work out, Holmgren will improve the team hugely over Erickson.
