I almost hate to post this with their history but...

PowerVR next gen benchmarks... (Neon 250)

Anyone have any solid info on the marketing direction of this card / chipset? Seems from what I can gather they are pushing for a strong UK / European release. I have barely seen anything in US sites regarding this card, but then again, wasn't this chipset supposed to be the answer to voodoo2? (PRVRNG?)

Voodoo Review just reported the following about the Q2 performance drop with the Q3 drivers:

==========================
According to STB "the losing frame rates in Q2 is they are
playing using the default OpenGL driver. The new driver has the OpenGL ICD built into the driver. Have them try the 3DFX miniGL and see if the performance goes back up." I've just done some brief testing of the Voodoo3 drivers and they seems to work pretty well so far.
==========================

Yeah, it's kinda confusing to me too. But I thought I'd pass it along anyway.
