John,

I got my grain mill from www.homebrewsupply.com. the exact page is

homebrewsupply.com

will it grind your peppers? I don't know. you put what you want ground into a hopper, where it falls into a (about...) 1 1/2 inch augur. the augur is connected to the handle. As you crank, you augur the grains/whatever between a rotating and stationary plate. I would guess you could grind anything dry and smaller than 1/2" or so...but remember, I've only got 15 minutes experience!! I can't imagine, though, how you could hurt the mill--again, it's all cast iron; it'd take a slegehammer and a long afternoon to dent it.

I'd suggest searching for "corona grain mill" or "corona mill" in a search engine (I like Alta Vista; all lowercase gives max hits for the phrase). There are lots of pages that list all the things the mill can grind.

Finally, I was very happy with homebrewsupply.com. I did a secure credit card order; it was shipped promptly, no sweat.

Any other questions...ask away. Good luck!
