If you mean - why did I post a report that refers (among other things) to W-CDMA - 'cause I find it relevant to QCOM (which I own). 3G will likely rely heavily on W-CDMA, which I suspect is why Q will pre-emptively and aggressively launch HDR (and de jure beats de facto, IF we get one).

Not that I am aware, but maybe check for sure with Maurice (if you can find the technical trees through the political forest here <g>)
