Good Morning, DGIV family!

One of the promises I made to myself and to my children, as young mothers make promises, was that I would always be there for them.

That statement is so very valid. It seems such a struggle and sacrifice (not to mention pain in the kiester sometimes)to "be there" as room mom, scout leader, pto officer, band officer, chairmom of selling everything from candy bars to bumper stickers, fieldtrips, etc...but I tell you what; as those last few days of your last child in school start to fly by...all the things you gave up to "be there" just seems so insignificant. You'd relive every precious and painful moment again...in a heartbeat. I'm there right now, watching the final hours of a baby who will not be needing a mom to "be there" as much, and I would...I'd relive it all in a heartbeat.

(Sorry...my hearts a bit sensitive after watching that final daddy/daughter dance at baby girl's SR prom last night. It makes me realize how "lucky" I was to always "be there".)

Anyway....Fuzzy, E2, Doc, Mark, Bill, Don, Woody, etc...thanks for the Happy Mother's Day wishes. Same back to each of your wives & moms and all the other DGIV moms here; {{{Silver, Denise, Texan, KYBelle, Joanie, Q,}}} and all the rest...We be not only Mothers...we be DGIVAHOLICS! <gg>

Have a great day all...our menace has been brought to SI's attention. Some things just go way beyond the bounds of good taste and human decency...that was one of them. I won't let it ruin my day, but I hope his heartless words eat at him all day. Woody...masterful job my friend.

E!
