Monty Lenard: The indexes are garbage as far as I am concerned. I have been seeing too many divergences which leads me to believe you are right about picking the right ones. I think those who follow these indexes right now at least are looking at the wrong thing. Good to see you posting again...but I have to disagree with you...<g> One can not look at the Indexes only, but they are still very useful. I have posted a composite chart, revealing a little more of my personal longer-term analysis. I have my own Index I created as well. Of course Index analysis should never replace looking at individual issues before any investment and leading issues have to be identified and analyzed as part of any "good" forward looking overall Market Analysis System.
