Larry,

AOL can do it via DSL, but that charges 50-60 bucks monthly.

I a recent news release AOL stated that it would charge $39.95 per month for high speed internet connections which is $2 to $3 less per month then most other ISP's.

As far as your 12 friends that like other ISP services, AOL averages signing up over 1 million new customers each month and it's doubtful that your buddies will be missed.

> A simple question. T is about to roll out the cable modem service for a monthly charge of $40. And a second telephone adds another 4-6 bucks monthly.<

Cable does not require a second phone line.AOL management did not build this company to the size it is by sitting still. They will find the right solution to the broadband issue.50,000 signup for the internet every day.Don't you think AOL is going to get a good percentage of them?
