Here is the Sunday Morning "Think Piece" from one of the LA Times Guru's. He is pointed to rising rates in long bonds as a bad sign for our Gorillas. Traditionally, rising interest rates helps the "old guard" Fortune 500 types, and hurts our go-go techs. latimes.com He points out that it then cost Hi-techs more to borrow for expansion. Like softy and Cisco needed to borrow! These predictions sometimes become self-fullfilling, when the Fund Managers act like lemmings and run to the cyclicals.
