Rosemary: I agree with you...holding for 3-5 yrs min. assuming they execute their plan...but like you, I was curious...

I bought MSFT at the IPO...and still hold it...but in the early days and before they cemented their franchise...I was concerned about introductions and threats...I hold RMBS for the same reasons as MSFT: Compelling IP/management/market/business model...except now I am buying lots of RMBS when 14 years ago I didn't have the cash to buy lots of MSFT...but the performance of those MSFT shares have really made these kinds of bets which create near term concerns...worthwhile...
