Iomega 2nd Q '99 Estimates:

Clik will lose $15 Million for 2nd Quarter 1999 on sales of $7 Million. This will be the
highest $ amount of Quarterly revenues that Iomega ever realizes from Clik.

For 2nd Q 1999, Iomega will report:

Revenues: $365 Million, down (-7%) year to year from 2nd Q '98

GM $82 Million 22.5%
SG&A $61.5 Million 17.0%
R&D $23 Million 6.3%

Earnings: Loss of $2.5 Million ($0.01)

Why the decrease in net earnings losses from your original EPS loss prediction of ($0.02)?

Here is a link to your original post containing your original estimate:

This is what it said:

I will further give guidance estimates for 2nd Q '99 of $365 Million (down -7% from 2nd Q 98) and a loss of ($0.02).

What is it that Iomega is doing better now than what you thought they were doing then to justify a decrease in your previously estimated losses per share?

By the way, for Q2 1999 what do you thing the net earnings dollars will be before the special charge for restructuring?
