Betty,

Yes, it was half-hearted. They were allowed by the Govt to do these things. Throw rocks and eggs, not like we would have done in the 60's. The Gov't controls everything, even the marches. I suspect that the kids were told to march. It looked well contrived.

China is in a hard position, they want to be capitalists, but their teachings won't allow them to be. I'm on the side of Buddha, he'll win out eventually.
