By the way, I wanted to make it clear that in my exchange with JLA I was: 1. Not accusing him of lying, but of a lapse in memory; 2. That I do think that questioning my use of the word "dismissive", given the context, was a stretch; 3. That he has several times put me on the defensive for being "too nice", once going so far as to say that if I continued in that vein he would lose all respect for me; 4. That I tried not to pursue the matter, by saying that I did not wish " to play the URL game" with him, but he wanted to go on; 5. That in that context, it is appropriate for me to be equally candid about what I consider to be the deficiencies in his approach. I have had no desire to embarrass or antagonize JLA, quite the contrary. But I am tired of being on the defensive on these matters....
