BLUE, there is hope that in this country we can push for something better. I saw it
myself on Saturday as I participated in the Run for the Cure in Sacramento. Yep, you
were right, it's an incredibly moving experience to be out there with all of those amazing
brave survivors, spouses, and friends of those that have been afflicted with breast
cancer. There were 5000 "runners" expected, and over 7000 showed up. 40% above
expectations...which is great! Many pink hats which was sobering.

What a great experience to be out there with so many others walking/running towards
a common goal. And that those people would show up for such a noble reason gives
me faith that underneath all the garbage you see though the media (like Monica on
SNL), there is a good in people.
(this also applies to the many, many expressions of well wishes I've personally received
from people that know about my relation to the Columbine tragedy)
Take care BLUE, and thank you for helping to make the world a better place.
pals,
-Joe

(BTW, my sister says that Bubba is going to meet the students and parents of
Columbine on 5/20, I hope he is going there because he really feels a need in his
heart...and not for a "photo op")
