Yeah, and that's why ALTR sells for three and one half times the sales to price multiple that LSI does. Except that I have two problems with this. First, LSI has increasing intellectual property invested in its chips, and over time that must be included in the valuation of the stock's price. The second problem I have with ALTR is that this is an area into which INTC will be increasing its efforts, and as Wilf noted about three CCs ago, "Anybody who goes head to head with INTC will get his head handed to him".
