If we had a ground war I wouldnt be happy. However if there is such a threat to the Albanians then send in the Marines. Clinton is making it look like America does not have the resolve to use ground troops when it is nesseccary. This will only encourage others to follow im milosevics footsteps. Sadam must be laughing his ass off, and contemplating going in to Saudi Arabia. Why wouldnt he? Bill Clinton is scared to send the Army anywhere. Heck there is no Army anymore, and whats left of it cant fight two wars no can it? I tell you a ground war in Europe will lead to another war in The middle East. He(sadam) is waiting for any daylight to make some noise!

Jill N -

There's an interesting new book out called "The Pity of War" that indicates England was much more responsible for fomenting last 2 wars than we admit...

I don't know who wote a book with such a theme but whoever it was must be stark raving mad. England was minding its own business in the summer of 1914 and again in the Summer of 1939. England had no particular interest in Europe and didn't have much of an Army or an Airforce applicable to a European war. England had very little interest in Europe as the German Government calculated.

The British went to war to protect themselves and thereby our civiliztion from the Germans who twice within the space of a few short years went stark raving mad. Had the British not stood up to the Germans, the Germans might have completed their next version of the V2 which they were actively working on and which for obvious reasons was called the 'New York".

Best regards,

L
