This sounds like our "military/industrial complex" at work. It's probably easy for approved vendors like Raytheon or General Dynamics to get several million bucks in grant money to develop an application-specific computer (What's described is not a full PC) and supply their own analysts to monitor field applicability, but nearly impossible for the Marines to crunch through a proposal to buy an MA-IV and develop applications through Xybernaut.

Also, Marines on maneuvers probably have little use for a full function wearable PC. They need a ruggedized device which performs specific combat functions. This is not mainstream stuff at all.

The bottom line is: Wearable PCs are in an expanding market. Competition, in widely varying schemes, is going to materialize. Xybernaut probably has the best wearable PC out there right now. Raytheon and GD offer nothing similar. Warts and all, Xybernaut is still in the best position to break the industrial market open this year, with stragglers falling in behind.

>>>None of this sounds too promising for XYBR. IMO.

I try to avoid confusing Wearble PC applications with the multitude of other small-computer applications. Cautious optimism still seems reasonable for this speculative stock.
