AR, Yeah, I saw that in the paper yesterday. They are only going to use four distributors, probably Ingram, TechData, Compucomm and somebody else. I find this a non solution to the problem. They didn't stuff the channel because there were too many customers in the channel. They stuffed it by shipping too many computers. Period. I see where they expect the four amigos to give up on deals where Compaq rebates the difference when they can't sell boxes. Oh, yeah, they're going to give that up. <g> They'll just buy more HP, IBM, Toshiba and NEC boxes.
