So how about some picks for next week, Olu? I still have a bunch of cash.

Olu,

A small modification to our line of thought. Even if I am buying a stock for pure speculation, it is comforting If I could see the stock price protected by current earnings, or book value or some traditional valuation. The severe risk in amzn comes from the fact that we really can't say where it should find stable ground, if it continues falling. Basically it is a game of guessing at which point the funds will start buying.

It seems the fall slowed at the 130 level. I have no idea why it raced up to close 136 on Friday. I had bought 100 sh at 133.5 and it fell to 130, and I resigned myself to another loss. But suddenly it zoomed up and I sold at 135.5. Now I wonder if that was good or bad.
