I don't remember any that were chromed. Just refinished and gas or electric added. The fire boxes made nice small extra ovens.

You want to see my mounted fish?

One year I did some cold smoking of meats. Used an old recipe brine and cold smoked 40 pounds of salmon and 40 pounds of bacon for several weeks. Really good eats.

I have also hot smoked pike to use in a dip. Turned out great. I should get back into that stuff.

One year I made summer sausage out of jack rabbit and goose and it turned out tasty and low fat. I took some fishing and my cousin and the guide were eating it like wolves on a kill. My cousin asked what it was made of and I said it was from a horse that had foundered. The Guide was scraping his throat with his finger while retching. Damn, he ate Beenie Weenies, cold, from the can. My cousin never missed a bite.
