Keep in mind that Rand asserts the superiority of capitalism lies in its automatic reward of the most rational behavior.

She's relying on Adam Smith's "invisible hand" effect of mutual and public goods being produced by private references. The idea is that in a context of mutually voluntary exchange, people will always go for the best deal.

As I mentioned earlier, Rand recognized that capitalism to work in this fashion must have firm moral limits.

On the other hand, precision bombing does have a certain appeal....
