Lots of internet commerce companies trade at a multiple of sales or revenues...instead of a multiple of earnings (p/e Ratio).. The P/S ratio could be very high for a strong growth/high margin business and extremely low for the opposite (eg. grocery retailers) Analysts target prices are where they expect a stock to reach within 6 12 24 months etc...often these targets are based upon a p/s ratio....ie. what price per hare will MCF trade at as a multiple of their revenues per share....or in aggregate what market cap should MCF be based on say $30, 40 or 50 million of revenues??...let's dream!
