Regards that "gut clinch", I almost broke a limb diving for the phone last November after I got around to finally reviewing the UBID S-1 that had been sitting on my floor for four weeks. I got in MALL at 10 1/2 a half hour before the close on the day before it began its explosion upward. I also managed to get one friend and my broker in. My friend still talks about erecting a statue of me in his front yard and my broker ended up making close to $300,000 on the trade. That day was an epiphany for me and I have radically, and successfully, altered my trading style, though I have missed a number of opportunities because of my tendency to go overboard on the DD. Aww...but that gut clinch is a thing of beauty.

It is also a good thing to be able to share the experience with others and it would have been unfortunate if SI had lost Wayne to RB. Not only has he monetarily enriched himself and others this past week, but I am sure that he feels enriched in other ways. Sorry for the sentimentality Wayne, but it is good to have you back.

Unfortunately, this party will come to an end at some point and hopefully we will all have enough brains to cash out quickly (or go short) and hunker down to wait for the next round...and there will be a next round.

Incedentially, my broker managed to lose the entire $300,000 by shorting AOL. What an idiot. LOL.
