I've lost the order server before but never for more than a minute or so. The fact I've haven't seen a major outage makes me comfortable with occasional glitches. I've never been caught though in that situation with a live order or an open position, must have freaked you out.. I'd imagine if you at least got the cxl off before the screen locked, and JPR confirmed the cxl, your probably safe...but your right about not being totally in the clear until you get some kind of proof.
