Thanks t2. I have to admit that I've long been mystified by AOL. Of all the high-valued net stocks out there, it's the one I would trust least, and yet it's the one that gets the best marks from analysts.

One doesn't hear much of the "vison thing" from them. They've said some things about "AOL Anywhere", but the releases seemed to be mostly PR hype, since they don't seem to do much to make it happen, and don't seem to have the technical savvy to pull off anything new or unique. High-tech has always been a game of expectation -- something Microsoft managed superbly in the 90s. But AOL doesn't seem at all comfortable playing that game, so it's difficult to know just where they're heading. Despite that, however, they get this massive extra valuation for their future prospects. Odd.
