The $4,500 is the price Comcast will pay for each subscriber it gets from T. This is above the historical price, which used to be about 2,500. I believe it was higher for the TCOMA deal. But there also is a scarcity value. there are only so many big cable companies left. Comcast, Cox, and Adelphia are family controlled, i believe, so are not available unless family wants to sell. but the historical price was before cable modem and telephony potential. This is a huge deal for T. T is one of the most attractive companies going forward, imo. larry
