Synchronicity at work:

I was reading a Robert Parker "Spenser" novel this afternoon, called "Sudden Mischief"

Good old private eye stuff. Slow afternoon, it is snowing here again.

In the book (on page 48) Spenser is commenting on the Boston Artery Project. He didn't mention SLUP.

I wonder if this was a deliberate act?
Is SLUP beneath the attention of fictional heroes?
Perhaps Parker was aware of SLUP when he wrote the book but decided non of his readers would believe in it?
A case of reality being stranger than fiction??
