I agree they are not very long on specifics. They also use the term non-blocking as though it is something new. Most of us who have followed the technology for years know that Ancor's fabrics have been non-blocking for years. Here is the relevant link:

On the MKII features checklist you will find: "100% non-blocking fabrics keep tape drives streaming even in large systems".

I don't think class one in fabrics will be in big demand. The seem to be using Ancor's argument for using it in LANS requiring large file transfers (CAD/CAM files). I think the main application that seems to be selling at this time is transaction processing applications.
