Regarding sectors: I have noticed that my scans automatically pull up hot sectors....for example, gaming, REITs', and durables have been coming up for a couple weeks whereas(is that a word) banking, techs', and oils were coming up prior to that

I think sector analysis is a good idea, milesov. May I suggest that SIC is preferable to IRL for two reasons, -sorting on a SIC column is more useful because the numbers group meaningfully. -the resulting SIC range can be used directly to select the 'hot sector' for further exploration. I won't try to suggest a scan, just try adding SIC [and a corresponding IRL identifier for comparison] to your favorite --- if milesov1 and milesov2 and bdog3 then print ; // boilerplate println ",",SIC,",",SICDescription,",",IRLSymbol; --- now sort on SIC to get a 'histogram' and pick one or more 'sweet spots' for the subsequent scan, giving perhaps ---- .... if Doug2 then if SIC >= 2310 and SIC <= 2840 or SIC = 3634 or SIC >= 4610 and SIC <= 4740 then println; // endif; endif; ----- Bob
